Summer Twilight Meetings

June 22, 2021, at Maple Lane Farms, Preston CT

Since 1978, this 325 acre farm, which evolved from 2 acres of cut-your-own Christmas trees, has been a farm for all providing families with lasting memories while traversing the many acres of cut-your-own Christmas trees, filling buckets of pick-your-own strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or finding the perfect apples and pumpkins to ring in the fall season.  Allyn Brown, a past Board member of CCTGA, will be the host for the evening.

In 1985 James Fazzone purchased property in Cheshire and planted Christmas trees.  He started with Douglas fir and Concolor fir (because he liked the smell of tangerines) and some White Pine.  He added several other varieties including Nordman, Serbian, Canaan and Korean fir to name a few.  In 2002, as a hobby and for his customers to enjoy as they cut their Christmas trees, Jim added some alpaca to his farm.  Along with his daughter, Suzanne hosting, this 7-acre farm surely will be one not to miss.
